Honest Scrap Tag

Okay, so I was tagged by Michelle at Lipstick Rules to do this honest scrap tag. Thanks Michelle! You guys go check her out, she's always got something interesting to say!

Here's the deal. Tell your readers 10 things about you that they may or may not know, but are true. Tag ten people with the award, and be sure to let them know they've been tagged (a quick comment on their blog will do). Don't forget to link back to the blogger who tagged you.

1. When I get it in my head that I want something I WILL get it. If I find some new lippie that a bloggerette is crazy about, I will immediately have it in my head that I will love it too and I will probably have it in my hands within the hour unless the shops are closed and it's not online. In that case I will have it about 10 minutes after the shop opens. Ahh, the power of compulsiveness.

2. As a child I was obsessed with Michael Jackson. My mom acutally put a ban on MJ in our house cuz it was always on, the music, the music videos, the moonwaker movie, jackson 5 compilation discs. Haha, she was not having it. I'm still pretty obsessed. In my senior year of highschool I was in the school's dance squad and I performed to Thriller with 2 other friends. I got to be Michael, haha. You should have seen my bad ass kicks and crotch-grab. We got second place and we were robbed.

3. I'm a carbie-doll. I love carbs. Fries, mash potatoes, white rice, rice pilaf, hash browns, basically all the things that give you a spare tire. Great.

4. I was a server/waitress in a restaurant for a while which is where I met my hubby. My best night was when I was working in the lounge bit of the restaurant and I made $350+ in tips on one table (they only spent $200 in food and drinks). I was one happy camper when I tallied up ALL my tips! Haha, I think it had something to do with the fact that it was normal to wear short skirts, heels and tank tops and that it was usually guys that sat in the lounge. **sigh** back when I could fit in those tiny little articles of clothes...no more...no more.

5. I am allergic to everything under the sun. And judging by this prickly sun rash I have on my right arm, I'm apparantly allergic to the sun itself, as well.

6. You know that little piece of skin you have in your mouth just above your 2 front teeth that attaches from the gums to the inside of your upper lip? I don't have that. My orthodentist snipped it thinking that it was the reason that my 2 front teeth had a light gap in it. Um, no, it was the fact that he took out 4 teeth (2 top, 2 bottom) to help my crowded teeth.

7. I'm itching to get a new tattoo with my kids names on it. That would make 8 (although it should really be 11...I've covered some and mashed them together, but some of you guys know that bit.)

8. I used to have really strong legs. Used to. I used to be able to press lift as much as my guy friends but I had really, really scrawny chicken legs...runs in my family. Haha, I guess you could blame ballet as a youngin' and pointe shoes. I'm pretty strong for a girl, but I need to get my ass back in the gym cuz I've been so lazy after having my little man. I feel doughy.

9. I love reading, but I never get the chance to read more than 2 consecutive sentences before I get interrupted. Gah!

10. I'm such a cheeseball and I love laughing it up with my friends. My hubby has the best sense of humour and I LOVE that!
